Textile and other industries will enter the off-season

Shipping freight forwarding: In April, the shipment volume of the shipping freight forwarding industry rose by a wide margin, mainly in mid-to-late April. Europe and the United States recovered significantly, and the ocean shipping route began to increase from around the 15th. However, nearly half of the surveyed respondents indicated that the volume of shipments has dropped steadily compared to the same period of last year, and that the shipping company's merging of vessels or lightening up warehouses also reflected weak exports since the beginning of the year. With the arrival of the peak season in the second half of the year, exports are expected to rise month after month.

Textile Exports: Shipments in April were generally flat compared to the same period last year, and continued to decline year-on-year, and orders prices dropped significantly. Textile exports continued to slump. The next textile export is about to enter the off-season, so the surveyed targets are even more pessimistic about the expected shipments next month.

Electronic exports: In April, the actual export volume of electronic exports increased steadily, and the structural characteristics of export products were obvious. Among them, the sales of mobile phones and flat-panels exceeded expectations. New orders are only slightly up, and shipments are expected to continue to rise next month. Capacity utilization fell from the previous month's high, due to structural changes.

Export of home appliances: In April, the export of home appliances rose steadily and rose about 5% year-on-year. In April, the export of home appliances began to enter the peak season, and the number of new shipments and new orders increased further. The respondents were optimistic about the export of home appliances from May to June. The low price of raw materials has led to an increase in overall profitability.
