However, in the Spring and Summer 2011 season, they made a strong comeback. This time, the thick-soled platform shoes took center stage, with models walking confidently on them. While they may seem safe and stylish at first glance, they actually demand a certain level of confidence and leg length to pull off. These bold shoes are all about making a statement.

This season, Prada brought its most eye-catching platform shoes. Whether it was lace-up oxfords or buckle sandals, every pair came with a thick, colorful foam sole—ranging from hot orange to bright turquoise and dazzling royal blue. The soles were not only wide but also featured innovative color combinations and textures. A woven jute band connected the bold foam soles to the upper parts, giving each shoe a unique visual contrast.
