In the face of severe market conditions and bumper harvest prospects, the People's Government of the Autonomous Region issued three documents including “Emergency Notice Concerning Effective Implementation of the New Year's Cotton Work” on August 14-15, and made comprehensive arrangements for the advancement of cotton work. . The autonomous region will formulate and publish the information price for Xinjiang cotton in recent days in order to stabilize market expectations and protect the interests of cotton farmers.

At present, the relevant state departments have already deployed new cotton reserve preparations. If the market price is lower than the temporary purchase and storage price, the temporary purchase and storage plan will start as scheduled. At the same time, the Xinjiang Development Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank based on the acquisition volume of the previous year and the output this year temporarily arranged for acquisition of 56 billion yuan of funds, an increase of approximately 10% over the same period of the previous year, and issued 181 corporate ** qualifications in three batches.
