Button manufacturing process
Ivory fruit (COROZONUT) is a fruit called TAGUA coconut tree that grows mainly near the equator of South America. The tree grows very slowly. It takes about 15 years to produce the fiber-made fruit. It takes 3 to 8 years for the fruit to grow. Fully mature. When the fruit is fully ripe and falls on the ground, it is harvested by the local people. After drying in the tropical sun for 3 to 4 months, the fruit's gelatin will mature and become a white, hard substance similar to ivory. The completely dried COROZONUT can be used as a substitute for real ivory products, so local residents also call it VORYNUT (ivory kernel). The fruit is dried and then peeled off with a hard shell, sorted according to size and quality, and then processed into fine industrial products or carved into the desired shape.
The production process of the fruit button (rough process)
A/ Peel only mature fruits, dried and peeled.
B/Cut the peeled clean ivory fruit and saw it three pieces/piece. Hollow sections are not available.
The C/filter slice is classified according to specific size/quality and is used for different requirements.
D/diamond special drills take one button embryo F/select embryo in each piece of fruit. This is the most critical link. Only good quality knobs are selected.
G / car button automatic mechanical surface, drilling, lighting and so on.
