Recently, Professor Mei Ziqiang, an academician of the China Academy of Engineering and former president of the China Textile Academy, led a group of domestic textile experts to visit several key textile companies in Hunan as part of an initiative by the Hunan Zhuma Deep Processing Industry, Research, and Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. The visit included Yiyang Ruiya Hi-Tech, Qijiang Star Maye, and other prominent enterprises in the region.
At Yiyang Ruiya Gaoke Textiles Co., Ltd., a leading member of the alliance, Mei Ziqiang commended the company’s recent breakthroughs in invention patents, highlighting its innovative efforts in developing eco-friendly and functional textiles made from bamboo and hemp fibers. He emphasized that the advancement of such sustainable materials is not only crucial for market competitiveness but also vital for the long-term survival and growth of the textile industry.
