Elisa Palomino, a Spanish designer born in Valencia in the late 1960s, has built a career steeped in creativity and cultural influence. Her early exposure to fashion came through her grandmother’s attic, where she discovered a treasure trove of unique jewelry and an Asian-style kimono. This experience sparked her fascination with eclectic, artistic styles that would later define her work.
After studying at St. Martin's School of Art in London, where she earned a master's degree in fashion design, Elisa honed her skills by working with renowned brands such as Moschino in Milan. There, she developed her whimsical and rebellious aesthetic while gaining valuable insight into the fashion industry. She then moved to Paris, where she spent eight years at John Galliano’s headquarters, refining her craft and contributing to numerous iconic collections.
Her talent soon caught the attention of Christian Dior, leading to collaborations on Haute Couture pieces that brought her creative vision to life. Later, she joined Roberto Cavalli before moving to New York in 2008 as Vice President of Design for Diane Von Furstenberg. It was during this time that she met Tristan von Christann, who would become her husband. Together, they launched their own brand in 2010 at New York Fashion Week, marking a major milestone in her career.
Elisa’s designs are known for their magical charm, sensuality, and elegance—elements that embody high fashion. In the spring and summer of 2011, her collections made waves across the fashion world. Her mastery of bold color contrasts and black tones added depth and visual impact to her creations, making her work both captivating and timeless. With a background rooted in artistry and a passion for storytelling through fashion, Elisa Palomino continues to inspire with every piece she creates.
